bascowood Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 I hate to sound stupid....yeh, I know, I'm stepping right into that one. But when I went to update the firmware for my Pioneer DVR-109, how do I install it? It won't let me download it directly into my drive.
blutach Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 Isn't it a matter of running the EXE? Make sure no discs are in the drive. Regards

bascowood Posted April 18, 2009 Author Posted April 18, 2009 I did download the firmware exactly from that same source, but when I tried to open it, it is asking for a destination and everytime I try the drive it doesn't take. I try browse and I 'm not sure where to download it to. Any ideas. It is not automatically executing, it errors to say that it could not find the file to update.
bascowood Posted April 18, 2009 Author Posted April 18, 2009 It keeps saying"Available target not found"
spinningwheel Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 Post a log from an attempt to use ImgBurn please.
eraz0r Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 It keeps saying"Available target not found" Be sure to disable ANY antivirus protection when flashing the drive. If that's not helping, then you may have some 'filters' installed in your system, which might obstruct the normal flash process.
Shamus_McFartfinger Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 Hmm... sounds like the drive might be in an external enclosure. I could be wrong but it sure seems like it.
