I 11:56:08 Destination Media Type: DVD+R DL (Disc ID: RITEK-S04-66) (Speeds: 2.4x, 4x)

Ritek media is crap, get some Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim (made in Singapore) and try again.

W 12:19:20 Failed to Write Sectors 1861344 - 1861375 - Reason: Unknown (Internal Target Failure) (ASC: 0x44, ASCQ: 0x90)

Same as above.

I 11:56:08 Destination Device: [0:0:0] HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA-4084N KQ09 (E:) (ATA)

Your drive is 3 years old now and I would go to the manufacturerswebsite to look for a more recent firmware or replace the drive since they are really inexpensive now.

You could have done with buying the 2.4x rated Verbatims (MKM-001-00 dye) rather than the 8x (MKM-003-00) ones.

Try cleaning your drive, that might fix it.

Failing that, invest in a new one (assuming you don't want to take the MKM-001-00 route).
