imidazol97 Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 (edited) I'm having problems burning to DL discs other than Verbatim. Occasionally they work. HP laptop with Samsung TSSTcorp CD/DVDW TS-L532M HR08 drive in it. In a guide for Imgburn it suggested changing the book setting to dvd ROM under tools|drive|change book type. Is this a factor in burning on double layers? My last failures were Memorex +R DL which are Ritek discs. Edited April 27, 2009 by imidazol97
mmalves Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 ImgBurn automatically booktypes +R media to DVD-ROM on Samsung (TSSTcorp) burners, provided that the burner supports doing it. Laptop burners aren't all that great where burning is concerned, and the fact that low quality media can't be burned on them isn't surprising. You might be able to burn that crap on a newer normal-size burner in an external enclosure, or one installed on a desktop computer.
