i am trying to buring a double layer cd for the first time.... so i have no idea what i am doing.

keep getting the message

First of all, update ImgBurn to the latest version.

I'm getting the exact same problem using...the exact same brand of DL disc that you were. I've always used Verbatims, I just happened to get this one off a friend of mine for free and guess what? It doesnt work.

 

BTW does it coaster your disc or just refuse to even write to it? My disc, even after failing multiple attempts, is still "empty"

You need to read the pinned topic. Crap media = trouble.

 

Spend a few extra cents on Verbatim, +R, 2.4x, MKM-001-00, Made in Singapore.
