mmalves Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 First of all, please update ImgBurn to the latest version. Try a Full Erase on that DVD-RW to see if any error comes up. Could you also post the log from the burn on Verbatim media?

mmalves Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 Tools -> Drive -> Erase Disc -> Full in most modes, or in Write mode click the disc with a red eraser on it
Insomniac Posted May 8, 2009 Author Posted May 8, 2009 Erased the DVD-RW disc as you said. "Operation Successful" I still get the same Error-message though.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 switch to read mode, copy + paste the disc info from the panel on the right.
mmalves Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 If you use the Verify mode to verify the DVD-RW against the image, does it work?

LIGHTNING UK! Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 That disc info isn't from the burnt Verbatim though is it? The drive is still reporting it as a blank disc. The TDK disc info just looks like the drive hasn't burn anything at all - i.e. it's ignored everything I've told it to do and yet responded correctly to every single command. Of course if you've erased the DVD-RW since the failed burn, that would explain things

Here's the TDK-RW disc after a failed burn: TSSTcorp CDDVDW SH-S223F SB03 (ATA) Current Profile: DVD-RW Disc Information: Status: Empty Erasable: Yes Free Sectors: 2
LIGHTNING UK! Posted May 9, 2009 Posted May 9, 2009 Looks exactly the same to me! I guess the drive just can't burn that MID.
