Verbatim DVD after update of ImgBurn:

I 21:02:36 ImgBurn Version 2.4.4.0 started!

I 21:02:36 Microsoft Windows XP Professional (5.1, Build 2600 : Service Pack 3)

I 21:02:36 Total Physical Memory: 3

switch to read mode, copy + paste the disc info from the panel on the right.

TDK DVD-RW:

 

TSSTcorp CDDVDW SH-S223F SB03 (ATA)

Current Profile: DVD-RW

 

Disc Information:

Status: Empty

Erasable: Yes

Free Sectors: 2

That disc info isn't from the burnt Verbatim though is it? The drive is still reporting it as a blank disc.

 

The TDK disc info just looks like the drive hasn't burn anything at all - i.e. it's ignored everything I've told it to do and yet responded correctly to every single command.

 

Of course if you've erased the DVD-RW since the failed burn, that would explain things :D

Yeah, I decided to erase both of 'em. >_<
