Formatting and Closing session

Heey everybody,

 

I just bought some new DVD+RWs and this was the first time burning one.

First i needed to format the disc, this took 30 minutes! (it is a x4 disc, shouldn't it be 15 minutes!?!)

Then i burned the whole thing, that went pretty fast, but then, at 99% he had to close the session

That took 20 minutes! (WTF?)

 

Can anybody explain why this took so long?

Sounds like the drive is struggling to burn that media. Try with Verbatim DVD+RWs and it should work
