budley Posted May 9, 2009 Posted May 9, 2009 hi i`m tryin to burn onto verbatimDVD+R DL discs using a Philips DVDR16LS internal drive which had been working perfectly until now. When i now start i am getting the following error I 22:33:06 ImgBurn Version 2.4.4.0 started! I 22:33:06 Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition (5.1, Build 2600 : Service Pack 3) I 22:33:06 Total Physical Memory: 523,760 KB - Available: 163,684 KB W 22:33:06 Drive F:\ (FAT32) does not support single files > 4 GB in size. I 22:33:06 Initialising SPTI... I 22:33:06 Searching for SCSI / ATAPI devices... I 22:33:06 Found 2 DVD

The image fits a DVD-R/DVD+R disc just fine. You may have been just lucky enough that the disc possibly wasn't damaged in the process.

mmalves Posted May 9, 2009 Posted May 9, 2009 Are you sure? Do you have a Wii backup that you could put in your drive and copy the information shown on right side of ImgBurn's window?
LIGHTNING UK! Posted May 10, 2009 Posted May 10, 2009 Are you also sure you've been using MKM-003-00 dye discs before? As you're only being offered 2.4x and they're 8x discs, there's a chance your drive doesn't actually support them properly. You should try to get some MKM-001-00 2.4x discs instead.

Yes these discs are from the same spindle (packet) as the ones i previously burned successfully
