Hiding updates in Windows Update on Vista?

Is there a way to hide updates in Windows Updates for Vista? I have a typical Microsoft fucker error that after installing the update, Windows Update wants to list it again as an update I need. And, any attempt to download the update again returns a typical Microsoft fucker error, this time the error is just the classic unknown error.

It's possible to hide them. I have a lot of language pack hidden. Can't just remember how you do it. Perhaps right click on the row for the update item?

yep, right click the item you don't want and choose hide

It's possible to get free help from Microsoft even if you don't have a paid support subscription as long as the issue is with The Microsoft Windows Update program.

Turns out it doesn't do much good. Microsoft just re-enables the download periodically.

If it's re enabled for the languages - it's because they shipped new ones for SP2.
