I/O Error when reading disc

I was trying to save the iso file from a dvd to my laptop so that I could burn a copy to a blank dvd. I received the error message above. There is a small scratch on the source dvd, could that be what is causing the read error?

Yes, I can try that tonight on my home pc. If I get the same error, than it would probably mean something is wrong with the source disk, I guess?

Tried it last night on my Dell laptop and it read and burned with no problem. Thanks for the help.
