thedeetz Posted May 12, 2009 Share Posted May 12, 2009 Hi, So I've been reading all sorts of forum answers about this problem and I just can't seem to get this bug to go away. I get 'Device not ready (No Reference Position Found)' after a lengthy Logical unit process line. Now, I'm using a lite-on lh-20a1 dvd dl burner, I'm using verbatims (which I tried ten out of my 50 spindle of) The drive will read all dvds and cds I put in. It has successfully burned regular dvds before. here's the classic log that everyone with this problem recieved I 12:04:15 ImgBurn Version 2.4.4.0 started! LIGHTNING UK! Posted May 12, 2009 Share Posted May 12, 2009 Clearly it's not reading *all* dvd's or you wouldn't be having the problem you're having! Try cleaning the drive because basically, it can't initialise the disc properly. Until it does/can, no software can do anything with it. Do you only have the one spindle of discs? What were they exactly? DVD-R or DVD+R?
