great.white.2008 Posted May 12, 2009 Posted May 12, 2009 I'm new to ImgBurn.... Is there a way to burn a single session across multiple CDs/DVDs? For example.....ISO file is 7.5GB......Is there a way to make the image span across 2 discs? I have seen other programs allow multiple disc spans (sometimes called multiple sessions), but I don't see how to do it in ImgBurn. Sonic's RecordNow! software allows you create a data archive session that will span multiple discs. The only problem is that ReordNow! software is limited to the 106 character rule in the file path and the "No More Than 8 Directory Levels" rule. I am trying to archive data from a network drive where the file path exceeds 8 layers and 106 characters. I thought ImgBurn was a way to get around that since there are settings that ignore the 8 directories deep & 255 character rules. But now, I can't figure out how to span multiple discs. Please advise. Jeff
LIGHTNING UK! Posted May 12, 2009 Posted May 12, 2009 Multi-session has nothing to do with spanning. As you've kinda guessed, ImgBurn doesn't span anyway.
