jcd_ame Posted May 18, 2009 Posted May 18, 2009 I have burned two games on two different drives and got the same result. The xbox plays the games but eventually gives me a "disc is dirty, remove and wipe with a soft cloth". I checked the files for both games with abgx360 and they are good. I know I'm not using verbatim discs and I am going to try them but is there anything else I am doing wrong? I'll post both logs from one game using different drives. Aside from that, everything looks good. Just need to get the right Verbatim blanks now
jcd_ame Posted May 21, 2009 Author Posted May 21, 2009 (edited) I feel a little stupid but I found my problem. Dirty disk drive lens. Ran my cleaner for 30 seconds and now everything works great. I don't know why it had trouble reading some discs and not with others. Hope this helps someone else. Oh and thanks to mmalves. I didn't even realize there was a firmware update available.
