ron4adams Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 Hi, I am new to Imgburn, and appoligize if this question has been asked on any previous threads. I have recently used two different pieces of software, one used to convert from my commercial cds to the mp3 format, and the second to burn new cds in that format. I have just downloaded Imgburn, but don't have any cds with which I want to practice the conversion/burn process. When I open Imgburn I don't see where you tell the software to convert the files to the mp3 format before burning. Will it be obvious when I actually get a new cd whose tunes I want to add to an existing partially filled mp3 formatted cd?
blutach Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 If you have mp3s, you can just burn them as a data disc. If you wish to convert them to CD quality (WAV), ImgBurn calls direct show filters to do so (this happens after you create the cue file and start the write). There is no part of ImgBurn that converts WAV files to MP3s - it is a burning program, not a general converter. Regards
mmalves Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 You can use ImgBurn to make a copy of the original disc, but ImgBurn doesn't create MP3s from the tracks of your CD. For doing this you should look for other programs //edit oops too slow again
