djmoney5 Posted May 25, 2009 Posted May 25, 2009 I have a SONY DVD RW DRU-820a burning drive. I can't get the booktype set just right to backup my Wii games. Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong, and how to check after I have applied these settings to be sure that they are correct. Thank you
mmalves Posted May 26, 2009 Posted May 26, 2009 Make sure your burner has the latest firmware (if you're going to update the firmware then remove any disc and close the tray before updating and reboot after it's finished). The BenQ tab of ImgBurn's Book Type dialog should allow you to booktype +R media to DVD-ROM. Also use high quality blanks such as Verbatim and Taiyo Yuden
