What controller is your drive on?

 

Those sense area codes aren't in the normal range so it could be a controller driver issue.

Look in Device Manager on your Windows.

ide primary and secondary say they are working in device manager

Please use SIW and tells what it says in Hardware -> Motherboard (you can select all the lines and copy/paste here).

Install this driver, reboot then try again with the non-Verbatim media, so that if it errors out again you won't lose anything valuable ;)

im all out of my memorex i killed the last 1 today, thats just a sata ide driver. fully compatible.
