russ Posted March 7, 2006 Posted March 7, 2006 I am trying to burn a 617 MB iso of Ubuntu Linux v.5.10 which I just downloaded using ImgBurn 1.2.0.0. When I make this attempt, I get an error message which I've copied below: Device [1:0:0] MATSHITA UJDA740DVD/CDRW 1.20 (D:) (ATA) ScsiStatus: 0x02 Interpretation: Check Condition CDB: 2A 00 FF FF FF 6A 00 00 20 00 Interpretation: Write (10) - Sectors: 4294967146-4294967177 Sense Area: 70 00 03 00 00 00 00 73 02 00 00 00 00 Interpretation: Power Calibration Area is Full Of course, I have no idea what this means. Can anybody help?
LIGHTNING UK! Posted March 7, 2006 Posted March 7, 2006 It means your drive doesn't like those discs. See if there are any firmware updates available. If not, or that doesn't work, try some other discs.
