LIGHTNING UK! Posted June 1, 2009 Posted June 1, 2009 That's the write process, not the read process.
tamerlan Posted June 2, 2009 Author Posted June 2, 2009 (edited) I updated imgburn and tried to write at 2X, but still no success. Here is my new log file I 14:09:49 ImgBurn Version 2.4.4.0 started! LIGHTNING UK! Posted June 2, 2009 Posted June 2, 2009 Those logs both show you burning a 'MAX' still. I 14:12:26 Write Speed: MAX Whilst the discs might be branded by TDK, they still use the same 'RITEK' dye that loads of other brands do (i.e. they're no better than anything else using that same dye) I 14:17:11 Destination Media Type: DVD+R DL (Disc ID: RITEK-S04-66) (Speeds: 4x) You must at least try with some decent Verbatim DL media before we can conclude the issue is with the media or your drive. Basically there are 4 things you still need to try: 1. Burning at a different speed (4x or 6x) 2. Burning better discs - Verbatim 2.4x if possible, otherwise the Verbatim 8x ones. 3. Cleaning the drive. 4. Replacing the drive.
tamerlan Posted June 2, 2009 Author Posted June 2, 2009 Write speed 6x=Success Excellent support. Thank you again.
