SmOt-PoKeR Posted June 3, 2009 Share Posted June 3, 2009 So basically my LG burner died on me stopped burning disc's so i bought a sony and this is the 2nd one that isnt working... i was getting a communication error before so i changed the sata cable and now im getting a new error. and heres what it shows when i try to burn a dual layer... could this be my hard drive or is it more likly the burner...? LIGHTNING UK! Posted June 3, 2009 Share Posted June 3, 2009 You've got DMA issues. I suggest changing the cable again. To a better / shorter one. You could also look at updating the drivers being used for the controller.
