SmOt-PoKeR Posted June 3, 2009 Posted June 3, 2009 So basically my LG burner died on me stopped burning disc's so i bought a sony and this is the 2nd one that isnt working... i was getting a communication error before so i changed the sata cable and now im getting a new error. and heres what it shows when i try to burn a dual layer... could this be my hard drive or is it more likly the burner...? LIGHTNING UK! Posted June 3, 2009 Posted June 3, 2009 You've got DMA issues. I suggest changing the cable again. To a better / shorter one. You could also look at updating the drivers being used for the controller. Finally, follow the DMA post in the FAQ and uninstall the controller entry from Device Manager before then rebooting your PC.
