KEnglander Posted June 4, 2009 Posted June 4, 2009 I am trying to copy a HP DVD distribution of HP-UX to an iso file on my hard drive. I received the following errors after a very apologetic window and retry option. The retry did not work so I told it not to try again the second time. It continued and appears to have worked. I do not have any blank DVDs so I cannot burn this image until tomorrow to see if it is good. W 09:31:24 ISO9660 File System Parsing Aborted! mmalves Posted June 4, 2009 Posted June 4, 2009 The ISO image should be OK. The parsing is done in order to show which file is affected if there was any read error, and on discs with lots of files it could take a very long time to parse, especially on older computers, so that's why a timeout was implemented. It doesn't affect the contents of the read disc image
