mmalves Posted June 6, 2009 Posted June 6, 2009 That's not a log (look in ImgBurn's Help menu). And please start your own thread.

LIGHTNING UK! Posted June 8, 2009 Posted June 8, 2009 There's a newer release of ImgBurn out, you should update. Try burning at 4x, your 'old' drive might do a better job at that speed. Try a cleaning disc in the drive too. If all else fails, hunt down some of the 2.4x verbs (MKM-001-00 dye) or invest in a new drive.

What can i do more? It stopped working when i switched to windows 7
LIGHTNING UK! Posted June 8, 2009 Posted June 8, 2009 I didn't say the new version would fix the problem, I just said you should update. You aren't using 2.4x verbatims, you're using the 8x ones. I 22:36:41 Destination Media Type: DVD+R DL (Disc ID: MKM-003-00) (Speeds: 2,4x; 4x) If Windows 7 is being a problem for you, don't use it.

Hmmmmm i did'nt think about that, i am using verb 8x , u are right !!!! i must have bought wrong. I will give it another try with 2.4x. I am still burning 2.4x with the 8x cd's. Hm
syncis Posted June 9, 2009 Author Posted June 9, 2009 ok Now i have tried to burn again with 2.4x and it didnt work, its stopped at 50% at sector 1913760-1913761 What can i do now ???
LIGHTNING UK! Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 You tried MKM-001-00 discs? If cleaning the drive doesn't work, try the drive in another pc. If it works in the other PC, it's either the rest of your hardware or your OS. Like I said before, if Windows 7 isn't working for you, don't use it.

Havent used a cleaning disc but i think its strange that it fails at 50% when its suppose to layer break. Dont you think that to?
LIGHTNING UK! Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 You've only posted 1 log and it shows the drive erroring out before it gets to the layer break. As such, I don't find it strange at all.
