Been burning discs on my old pioneer no prob. Have a new writer, which seemed to working fine upto just recently.

 

It took 3 coasters the other week with the failers linked to the following prob

 

Today I am on coaster 5, with 2 different files. The media I have been using has worked fine up to recently. I have the latest imgburn, winrar.

 

I cant seem to get the firmware update to work, the auto update says download fail and reboots, but as said I have had sucess up to recently.

The error appears just when it is about to write to disc a pop up comes up with

 

I/O Error!

Interpretation:Write (10) - Sectors:0 -31

Reason: The request could not be performed becasue of an I/O device error.
