neil2jo Posted June 15, 2009 Posted June 15, 2009 Been burning discs on my old pioneer no prob. Have a new writer, which seemed to working fine upto just recently. It took 3 coasters the other week with the failers linked to the following prob Today I am on coaster 5, with 2 different files. The media I have been using has worked fine up to recently. I have the latest imgburn, winrar. I cant seem to get the firmware update to work, the auto update says download fail and reboots, but as said I have had sucess up to recently. The error appears just when it is about to write to disc a pop up comes up with I/O Error! dontasciime Posted June 15, 2009 Posted June 15, 2009 http://www.firmwarehq.com/download_993-fil...F_SB03.exe.html change your sata cable, then change sata port, update sata drivers or remove ide storage driver them if nforce chipset. chage ahci in bios to ide emulated and try firmware update again. try another source for SB03
