I have a DL dvd i want to write on Memorex(I know its not vib... and dont tell me its the media i just spent 25 bucks for this stuff) I have the latest firmware for my Pioneer drive that was just updated and i have the correct layer split. but I keep getting the calibration area error. I understand there are diff grades of discs but there is obviously a way to do it.... I rather not spend another 25 bucks. have any other ideas? mmalves Posted June 16, 2009 Share Posted June 16, 2009 The burn process relies on the burner/firmware/media combination: since your burner has the latest firmware and you don't want to try with better media, what's left to try?
