MiLO Posted June 17, 2009 Posted June 17, 2009 Hi people. I want to create a bootble CD, and I also need to place one small TXT file on it after its created. I did only %50 of this. I burned a bootable CD. But I can't add anything to it. It says something about "Write-Protected". How do I fix this? But still make CD/DVD bootble. Thank You Guys!!
spinningwheel Posted June 17, 2009 Posted June 17, 2009 ImgBurn does not do multi-session burning. If you cannot add the files you want before you start the burn, it won't be done afterwards.
MiLO Posted June 17, 2009 Author Posted June 17, 2009 (edited) Thank You. So how should I do this then?? I can't add files to it after the burn. Edited June 17, 2009 by ilyabyk83
spinningwheel Posted June 17, 2009 Posted June 17, 2009 I'm afraid its been a long day and I'm about to turn in, someone will be around shortly that can help.
mmalves Posted June 17, 2009 Posted June 17, 2009 You should've inserted the TXT file before creating the bootable disc, assuming that it was done with ImgBurn anyway. The screenshot you've posted isn't ImgBurn
MiLO Posted June 17, 2009 Author Posted June 17, 2009 Look Here. This is the exact same thing!! I just wasted another CD!! Do you understand what I want??? I know how to make the CD bootable. I want to be able to add files to it!!!!!!!!!!!!
mmalves Posted June 17, 2009 Posted June 17, 2009 ImgBurn finalises the discs it burns and, because of that, you can add files to them with other programs. If you were using ImgBurn to create a bootable CD you could've also added your file.

I want to be able to add files to it!!!!!!!!!!!! Follow what mmalves said. I directed you to the guide that teaches you how to add files. FFS...If you want to add files after your original burn...ImgBurn will not do it...period
