Lunchbox88
I am using a lite-on shm-165h6s with the most recent driver (HS0E) and Verbatim DVD+R DL 2.4x made in Singapore. While trying to burn at first I get a Set L0 Data Zone Capacity Failed! - Reason: Power Calibration Area Error , then if I click continue it writes the entire disk then I get another power calibration error, then fail to verify. I set the burning speed at 2.4x to be safe so Im not sure whats causing the issues. Log attached to bottom of post. Thanks in advance for any help. //****************************************\\ ; ImgBurn Version 2.4.4.0 - Log ; Thursday, 18 June 2009, 20:19:27 ; \\****************************************// ; ; I 19:27:29 ImgBurn Version 2.4.4.0 started! mmalves
Try a lens cleaning disc on that drive. You may also want to try burning at 4x to see how it turns out.

Yeah I will try that, does it have anything to do with the drive being from 2006?
mmalves
In part, yes. If cleaning doesn't help then the drive is probably worn out.
