I was successfully transferring recordings from my VHS camcorder to DVD just before last Christmas. I went back to them about 4 weeks later and found that the recording tab has disappeared from my computer properties. Since then I have tried all available suggestions from different forums, even the MS Fix-it, but to no avail. I have also run Imgburn, log as below. Would be very grateful if someone could come up with a solution.

I 13:39:27 ImgBurn Version 2.4.4.0 started!

I 13:39:27 Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium Edition (6.0, Build 6002 : Service Pack 2)

I 13:39:27 Total Physical Memory: 2,094,300 KB - Available: 1,228,296 KB

W 13:39:27 Drive J:\ (FAT32) does not support single files > 4 GB in size.

I 13:39:27 Initialising SPTI...

I 13:39:27 Searching for SCSI / ATAPI devices...

E 13:39:30 CreateFile Failed! - Device: '\\.\CdRom0' (E:)

E 13:39:30 Reason: Access is denied.

W 13:39:30 Errors were encountered when trying to access a drive.

W 13:39:30 This drive will not be visible in the program.

E 13:39:30 You need Administrative privileges to use SPTI.

W 13:39:30 No devices detected!

Either your user doesn't have access to use the drives (via SPTI) or something it blocking access to them.

Still don't appear to have gotten the hang of quoting people then! Keep trying, you'll get there eventually. :)
