erm....?!

Post a copy of your burn log.

Tells us more about what you're burning exactly - file names etc.

What are you expecting your discs to be, a music one?

I was trying to make a movie disc that i can watch from the dvd player. I got a movie from my friend and this is what it says for the title:

Friday.the.13th.2009.dvdrip-fxm.avi

I didnt get a copy of the burn log but it work fine just was wondering were in the program i can change the format so my player wont think its an mp3 but i will try it again and this time copy the burn log.

ImgBurn is a burning tool, not a conversion one.

If you need a DVD Video disc (because your player won't play AVI files), convert the AVI using something like DVD Flick or ConvertXtoDVD.

ok so it looks like the problem is i was trying too use the imgburn as a converter so i would still have to get a converter to actually burn the video thanks and this is what the burn log said:

By the way...

HL-DT-ST DVD+-RW GSA-H73N B103 (ATA)

If that burner is on a Dell computer you might want to apply this firmware update (remove any disc and close the tray before updating then reboot after it's finished).
