rkcjason Posted June 28, 2009 Posted June 28, 2009 Hello, I have been using ImgBurn for awhile now, mostly just burning .iso's to CD's or DVD's. However, I had just gotten the idea to burn a few videos (.avi's) I had on my hard drive to a DVD-R. I just went to the "Write Files/Folders to disc" option and dragged and dropped the files into the normal pane. Next, I clicked the big burn button at the bottom, and it asked me if I wanted it to automatically change some setting, which I agreed to. Anyway, it successfully completed and I tried to play it in a DVD player but it did not work. Could someone give me some advice? Thanks in advance. Jason
eSkRo Posted June 28, 2009 Posted June 28, 2009 #1- is your Home DVD player capable of playing .avi files? #2- if it isn't, use DVDFLICK or COnvertXtoDVD to convert your .avi files to DVD Format
mmalves Posted June 28, 2009 Posted June 28, 2009 Alternatively you could buy a DivX-capable DVD player, they're very cheap.
