Conversion trouble

I'm trying to convert a number of UIF files to....... well, whatever they're supposed to be to work properly on interactive CD's. I've spent hours and burned numerous blank CD's trying to get this to work with no success. I've tried doing a search of UIF in the forums, but search function won't work with only 3 letters. Can someone please point me in the right direction?
