Setting LO Data Zone Capacity Failed-Reason: Invalid Field in CDB

(I know that there are a ton of these already but none of them have been able to solve my problem)

So I set booktype of my dvd+dl to dvd-rom, and then tried to burn the image. At first, I get a "Setting LO Data Zone Capacity Failed-Reason: Invalid Field in CDB, then when i click "ignore" or "continue" I get another L/O error message. Before anyone asks, I am going to try with better media within the next few days, but since around seven consecutive disks have had the same problem, I figure it might be something else. Here is the log:

Your burner doesn't support those discs (notice that it doesn't show any available write speeds). Get Verbatim 2.4x blanks and it should work
