Strogg Posted June 30, 2009 Posted June 30, 2009 Which I/O Interface should I use ? Which is the best? ASPI - WNASPI32.DLL or SPTI - Microsoft? Where to get the latest version of wnaspi32.dll? My OS is XP Professional SP3 ODD is PIONEER DVD-RW DVR115
LIGHTNING UK! Posted June 30, 2009 Posted June 30, 2009 The defaults are the best, so just stick with them (for you, that would be SPTI) You shouldn't be using ASPI on anything other than Windows 9x/Me really... the only programs that use it are ones that haven't been updated to use the newer I/O interfaces. Some might look as though they're using ASPI but their WNASPI32.DLL is actually just an SPTI wrapper - in which case, it's pointless to make ImgBurn use that when it can use SPTI directly.
