Having some issues burning xbox 360 games, they burn fine using imgburn on my samsung TS-H552U burner on verbatim DL disks, the game loads into the xbox but at various stages will fail with disk unreadable or black screen. It started happening after I rebuilt my PC due to O/S issues and now all my burns no matter what the game cause this issue, any ideas?

Try cleaning the xbox drive.

Your burner might not be great for MKM-003-00 discs either - they're 8x ones after all and your burner only appears to handle them at 2.4x

Thanks I will try different disks, the 360 is new so I know its not the drive. All other games work fine just seems to be anything I burn since rebuilding my PC, kinda frustrating but I'll start with new disks. I manually set the imgburn speed to 2.4x as I have read this is the best way to burn a 360 game.

I 10:16:31 Destination Media Type: DVD+R DL (Disc ID: MKM-003-00) (Speeds: 2.4x)

4x doesn't exist with your drive/firmware/media combo so it would have burnt at 4x.

Anyway... if it works, who cares!

Hey, what wud happen if i burn disc at 1x speed?

its more logical if u burn it at slower (1x) speed than faster (4x)

Not many burners today supports so slow burning speeds. Usually the 2.4x/4x speeds are that lowest available.
