nizmo Posted July 3, 2009 Posted July 3, 2009 (edited) Howdy, First off, my computer is a MacBook pro, early 2008 edition, I use bootcamp, and am booted into Windows Vista. I'm guessing my problem lies in my drive? I am sure it is capable of burning DL. But i still get these errors. My log is as follows: I 20:42:16 Operation Started! I 20:42:16 Source File: C:\Users\Jesse&Dawn Mejorado\Downloads\Transformers_Revenge_Of_The_Fallen_USA_RF_XBOX360-PROTOCOL\ptc-trans360.dvd I 20:42:16 Source File Sectors: 3,827,488 (MODE1/2048) I 20:42:16 Source File Size: 7,838,695,424 bytes I 20:42:16 Source File Volume Identifier: DVD_ROM I 20:42:16 Source File Volume Set Identifier: 356fc000MS UDFBridge I 20:42:16 Source File Application Identifier: CDIMAGE 2.45 (12/06/2000 TM) I 20:42:16 Source File Implementation Identifier: Microsoft CDIMAGE UDF I 20:42:16 Source File File System(s): ISO9660, UDF (1.50) I 20:42:16 Destination Device: [0:0:0] HL-DT-ST DVDRW GSA-S10N AP12 (D:) (ATA) I 20:42:16 Destination Media Type: DVD+R DL (Disc ID: MKM-003-00) (Speeds: 2.4x, 4x) I 20:42:16 Destination Media Sectors: 3,827,520 I 20:42:16 Write Mode: DVD I 20:42:16 Write Type: DAO I 20:42:16 Write Speed: 8x I 20:42:16 Link Size: Auto I 20:42:16 Lock Volume: Yes I 20:42:16 Test Mode: No I 20:42:16 OPC: No I 20:42:16 BURN-Proof: Enabled I 20:42:16 Book Type Setting: DVD-ROM I 20:42:16 User Specified L0 Data Zone Capacity: 1,913,760 E 20:49:48 Set L0 Data Zone Capacity Failed! - Reason: Invalid Field in Parameter List E 20:49:49 Operation Failed! - Duration: 00:07:33 I have tried burning at slower speeds, and still get the invalid field parameter. Any suggestions? Edited July 3, 2009 by nizmo
mmalves Posted July 3, 2009 Posted July 3, 2009 Could you post the whole log from that burn attempt? There's important information missing

mmalves Posted July 3, 2009 Posted July 3, 2009 It seems your drive doesn't like the 8x Verbatim blanks Try with the 2.4x Verbatim blanks and it should work
