I trying to use ImgBurn Version 2.4.4.0 to burn an ISO image (created with UB4CDWin) to a TDK 1-16x DVD-R (ver 2.1 REv 6.0). I have used ImgBurn before to burn ISO images to CD-Rs (in this case, the image is too large for a CD-R). However, the process fails each time. The log file is below is the one generated at the last attempt.

Your drive doesn't support those discs. You could try updating the drive's firmware (not that easy) or you could get Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden blanks and they'd work ;)

Thanks for the reply. Hopefully, the shop I bought the DVD-Rs in will replace them with compatible discs. Just in case they don't have Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden discs, where can I get a comprehensive list of discs that are comaptible?

It should work with blanks from all major brands really. We recommend Verbatim and Taiyo Yuden because their blanks give best quality burns on most burners.

I haven't replaced the incompatible DVD-Rs yet but just to let you know that I created a smaller ISO image and copied that to an Imation CD-R.
