hello~ i m new here. i just started using ImgBurn yesterday.

i m trying to create an ISO from a copy disc.

and the following error appears when i get up to 99%

 

it said it's an I/O error...

can anyone please tell me how can i get over this problem?

it happens several times already.... >_<

Update your burner's firmware (remove any disc and close the tray before updating then reboot after it's finished) and try again. If it still doesn't work, check the disc for dirt/scratches/etc. You might also want to try reading that disc with other drives.

sorry actually i m not really get used to computers... :unsure:

wt other drives can i use to read the disc?

Try with any other drive that can read DVDs. If it errors out at the same spot then your disc is damaged or uses copy protection, and ImgBurn doesn't copy protected discs :(

it's a Wii game call "Metal Slug", i m borrowing my friend's disc... it's a copy disc already...
