coldpsyco Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 im trying to make a repair disk for my laptop and imgburn isn't recognizing the .img file as a supported file format
mmalves Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 Does it say "Invalid or unsupported image file format" when you load it in Write mode? How big is it?
mmalves Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 That image is supposed to be written to a floppy disk. You can burn it to a bootable CD/DVD: in ImgBurn's Build mode, go to the Advanced tab then Bootable Disc tab; enable Make Image Bootable; in Emulation Type choose Floppy Disk (1.44 MB); click the folder icon in the Boot Image field and select your .img file; click the Write button to burn your bootable disc (use a rewritable disc if you have one).
