I've been using Sony DVD+R DL and Memorex DVD+R DL. The pop up that comes when the error occurs is this: I/O Error! LIGHTNING UK! Posted July 16, 2009 Share Posted July 16, 2009 It looks like your drive has produced a low quality burn on that media. (RITEK-D01-01 dye) I can't find any firmware updates for that model so basically you're left with cleaning the drive, getting different discs or buying a new drive that supports your current ones.
