Install x64 imgburn

Hello, I run Vista Ultimate x64 and I'm really new to it...

Anyway, I know that imgburn will work with Vista x64 if installed correctly.

I went to install it and it defaulted to the Program Files x86 folder.

My question is what do I have to do to get it to install as x64, do I just change the directory to Program Files when installing? Then it will default to install 64 bit? I know this seems kind of a dumb question.

I'm just really new to this. I thought when I went to install the imgburn that it might ask me if I want to install either the x64 or x86 version...

Could someone please fill me in on what I need to do to get the x64 version installed?

Right now I just did the default install of x86. Thanks for any info on this...

I did search everywhere I could think to find the answer to this question, the FAQs, these forums and google.

But wasn't able to find the answer. I hope you guys don't have a problem with me asking about this...

Thanks again...

ImgBurn is 32-bit only, but it'll work fine on your x64 OS with the default path and settings. You do know that the x64 version of Windows is capable of running any 32-bit programs, right?

Hi mmalves. Thanks for clearing this up for me. I was under the impression that I guess it was both 32 bit or 64 bit. Yeah I did know however that 32 bit programs work on 64 Bit Vista. Thanks for clearing this up for me so quickly. Your fast response is awesome help...

Thanks again mmalves. My mistake was thinking it was both 32 bit or 64 bit...

Have a great day mmalves!
