NotiQ Posted July 19, 2009 Posted July 19, 2009 (edited) I am using image burn to burn ISO files to a DVDR- I have a PHILIPS DVD+-RW DVD8631 GD30 in my dell dimension 8400 I have 2 internal hard drives with over 600gb in total, I have 2gb of RAM, I run on windows XP but also have Ubuntu a form of Linux I can also run on I go into write image to disc and add the file then I get the following error ____________________________________________________________________ I/O Error! Device: [1:1:0]PHILIPS DVD+-RW DVD8631 GD30 (E:) (ATA) ScsiStatus: 0x02 Interpretation: Check Condition CDB 28 00 00 03 AE 80 00 00 01 00 Interpretation: Read (10) - Sector: 241280 Sense Area: 70 00 03 00 00 00 00 12 00 00 00 00 00 11 00 00 00 00 00 Interpretation: Unrecovered Read Error ____________________________________________________________________ and in the advance settings my brand of drive is not an option I didn't know if it has to be or if you even have to set settings for your drive.
