Doktor Sleepless Posted July 24, 2009 Posted July 24, 2009 (edited) I am trying to burn an image onto a disk so that I can play it on my dvd player but I am having some problems, at first every thing goes as normal but when it reaches 99% something happens. It basically stops and then after like a minute at a standstill I get an error message: I/O Error! Device [0:0:0] HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA-E40L SE02 (E:)(USB) ScsiStatus: 0x02 Interpretation: Check Condition CDB: 2A00 00 22 C7 C0 00 00 20 00 Interpretation: Write (10) - Sectors: 2279360-2279391 Sense Area: 70 00 03 00 00 00 00 0A 3C 30 00 0D 02 00 00 00 00 00 Interpretation: No Seek Complete It then gives me the option to retry or cancel, if I retry then I just get the same message so I have to cancel. I have tried re-ripping the img off the original disk but this hasn't changed anything, could the problem be with the disk I am trying to burn the img to? It's a Memorex DVD-RW, I haven't had this problem with these disks before. Edited July 24, 2009 by Doktor Sleepless

mmalves Posted July 24, 2009 Posted July 24, 2009 I 14:13:36 ImgBurn Version 2.4.2.0 started!I 14:17:08 Destination Media Type: DVD-RW (Disc ID: MBI01RWG 20) (Speeds: 2x, 4x) Update ImgBurn. Rewritable discs are poor quality in general, and they also wear, although you should be able to use them a couple hundred times. If you really want to use rewritable discs then get Verbatim rewritable discs, as they work better and for longer than other brands
