BurNing Posted July 25, 2009 Posted July 25, 2009 (edited) I'm sure this will be easy for many but I'm new to this. I tried to burn a game to disk and got this "Doesn't appear to be enough space on the disk too burn the image" After looking, I discovered that the image is 6.95 GB so that's quite obvious now. Is the problem what I'm thinking it might be in that this would have to be burned to a double layered disk? Is it that simple or is it a special type of single disk. I don't wish to purchase a box of DL disks if that's probably not the issue. Any advice would be appreciated. P.S. I did spend time looking for the answer first but could not find it. Hope someone can help Edited July 25, 2009 by BurNing
Cynthia Posted July 25, 2009 Posted July 25, 2009 Hi and welcome to the forum, BurNing! Yes, you need a DL disc. Get Verbatim 2.4x if you can, works in most burners. If you have a newer burner, the 8x Verbatim should work.

Someone else told me once that I had to use a "special" 8gb single layer disk but I never heard any for sale anywhere so I though that might not be correct. I read through the forums and found a lot of info about how good the Verbatim are. I've always used Maxell (with no issues) single layer but I'll give the Verbatinm a "spin" Thanks again
