Im trying to write the madden 10 gamestop demo to a maxell dvd+r disc with 4.7 gb. if thats ne help.

Hi and welcome to the forum, raychurch74! :)

 

Based on the log you have one CD reader/burner and one DVD reader. You need to get a DVD burner to complete your task.

so basically what you are saying is that i should just quit now unless i want to invest money into something

Yes, you can't burn a DVD without a DVD burner. But these days they are not very expensive or tricky to install.
