isachs Posted July 28, 2009 Posted July 28, 2009 Hello, I am having a hard time burning bootable Vista recovery disks on my Toshiba A305 Satellite Laptop. The log file is below. ImgBurn will burn the image file; however, when ImgBurn is verifying my newly burned CD, it ejects my CD. A popup appears that mentions that there is a problem with verifying my CD becaus I have a slimline disc drive. When I place my CD-R back in my computer, imgburn it returns a CRC / ECC error. I ejected the CD and restarted my computer. I attempted to boot from my newly created CD; however, I received a black screen and the computer booted from my hard drive instead. Any suggestions on burning a bootable CD? I 08:21:59 ImgBurn Version 2.4.4.0 started! LIGHTNING UK! Posted July 28, 2009 Posted July 28, 2009 Use some different discs, your drive doesn't appear to like those.
