Burning Wii Games Problem :(

Okay, before I start off with talking about my problem I'm just going to write down some details about my crappy laptop .

 

Okay. Here it goes:

 

Manufacturer: Acer

Model: Aspire 5315

Intel

The basic issue is that the burn was not good and the disc can't be read without reading errors.

 

I 19:52:56 ImgBurn Version 2.4.2.0 started!

There is a later version to install.

 

Tried 4x write speed?

 

Have you checked at the Acer homepage if there is a later firmware version for your burner?

 

There is one here - but it looks not really right to me. The character series is different.

So how come when I do it I always get errors?

I guess he has another model of burner/media/firmware.

Try with Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden blanks and it should work

Thanx , oh and, I downloaded the newest version, I tried 4x speed, I'm pretty sure that's not the right firmware version... =\. I'm going to buy the Verbatim discs today to check if they work *prays*. But the thing is I have Vista, and it automatically updates my computer... so shouldn't it update the driver =\. Soo confused.. lol. Not sure if the Acer website has a later firmware though... Anyways, on the bright side, we're both from Sweden lool.

 

I also have a desktop computer, maybe I should try using that
