salem Posted July 29, 2009 Posted July 29, 2009 My problem is as follows (http://img33.imageshack.us/img33/7268/94571476.jpg), as can be seen, and a solution is offered at the following thread at the FAQ forum. http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=10650 BUT, i have tried all these programs and non of them seems to identify any tojan/rootkit in my computer... any suggestions?.. this is a severe problem which i would like to solve... I think this is a trojan though, because this problem has suddenly occured two days ago. Thanks ahead for the help.
spinningwheel Posted July 29, 2009 Posted July 29, 2009 If you have used all the programs that have been successful in the past and they have failed to remove the rootkit you may have a next generation virus as the developers of the infection keep updating the damned thing to attempt to stay ahead of the pack. Unless someone here or elsewhere has a better idea, I would suggest that you update your scanners every couple of hours until one of them catches up to the next gen of the infection. Then...do not download any avi/media players or other nonsense that someone wants you to in order to look at something that you downed from a torrent or other questionable site.
salem Posted July 29, 2009 Author Posted July 29, 2009 salem; Try this...download the trial pack. That software just killed the trojan! ripped it right out of my computer. thanks so much! its working now. bless you. Tal.
