Power Calibration Error

I am getting the same error trying to burn a movie. I will try to paste my burn log as well. I am new, please be patient. I have used this program for a while off and on. I read the post about the Verbatium DVD's and have a question. I am using the same spool of DVD's I did last time, they are "MEMOREX DVD+R 16X". I have not had this problem before. I noticed the the ones you are suggesting are dual layer right? What is the difference? I have a VERY limited selection where I live. I will probably have to order them online, I live in a small town in Alaska so I can't just pop down to BESTBUY or something. I will get better DVD's if that is a problem, it will just take a while and I am kind of in the middle of a project. When I started ImgBurn it update could that have made a difference?

Dual layer discs holds more data (no need for DVD Shrink) - but your current project fits well on your single layer discs.

If they worked before it could be one of following issues.

1. You just had a bad disc in that spindle.

2. The burner needs it's laser beam head cleaned. Can be done with a laser head cleaning disc.

3. The burner is broken.
