Hey im trying to burn an xbox 360 game with no luck. This is what im getting. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That drive is either too old or defective. Time for a new burner I think

Yeah the problem is ive only got a laptop (dell xps M1330) which is about 1 1/2 years old. Hard to believe that it doesnt recognise DVD+R DL. i thought that the Matshita UH-857G could read/write dual layer.

For a quick solution, buy an external case and put the full sized drive you want into it. Then you can still use the internal to make cd's and single layer dvd's if it holds up.
