Darryl66 Posted August 4, 2009 Posted August 4, 2009 Hi, have searched and realise "no seek complete" seems to be due to firmware or type of disk used. However, I recently purchased a generic usb burner and using imgburn was able to burn 4 different disks successfully. Then I ran into the problem. Now near the end of burning I get the ominous "no seek complete". This is occuring with the same brand of disk from same batch. I paste the log for your attention and hope you can provide a solution. Thank you Darryl ; //****************************************\\ ; ImgBurn Version 2.4.4.0 - Log ; Tuesday, 28 July 2009, 21:31:50 ; \\****************************************// ; ; I 20:34:29 ImgBurn Version 2.4.4.0 started! spinningwheel Posted August 4, 2009 Posted August 4, 2009 Hi and welcome Daryl66; First of all, update your copy of ImgBurn to 2.5.0.0, a lot of things have been added/modified since 2.4.4.0 Second, read this about yopur choice of media. Third, I/O errors are the result of the media/firmware/burner not playing nicely with each other...nothing more. Fourth, check your firmware for an upgrade...if available. Questionable media will sometimes work and most times fail, try to get some Verbs made in Singapore or switch to Taiyo Yuden discs.
