Device: [1:0:0] TOSHIBA CD/DVDW SD-R5372 TU53 (D: ) (ATA) Update the burner's firmware (remove any disc and close the tray before updating then reboot after it's finished) and try again. I'm using Sony brand BTW I've been using them for years, but this started coming up in the past month or so. I'm switching to Verbatim. Warrior_Monk Posted August 4, 2009 Author Share Posted August 4, 2009 Updating the firmware and using a dvd cleaner seemed to do it. I burned and used verify on three disks, the only problem is one of the three said "Device Not Ready - Unable to Recover TOC" when starting verify but I chalk it up to Sonys quality going down hill.
