waynea3 Posted August 7, 2009 Posted August 7, 2009 Hi, Wayne again. Sorry to have not provided the log file in regards to my "75% fail into burn" problem. I have attached a pdf copy for your review. Kind Regards, Wayne ImgBurn___Logfile.pdf
spinningwheel Posted August 7, 2009 Posted August 7, 2009 Wayne, your error is a simple I/O reported by your drive and then by ImgBurn to you. I/O errors are caused by your firmware/drive/media not playing well together...so...to start with: 1) Check for a firmware update. 2) Get rid of your CMC discs and get some Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim (made in Singapore) 3) Run a cleaning disc on your drive. 4) Do not double post.
mmalves Posted August 7, 2009 Posted August 7, 2009 Also try burning at 8x or 12x for a possibly better burn
waynea3 Posted August 7, 2009 Author Posted August 7, 2009 Hi, Wayne again. Sorry to have not provided the log file in regards to my "75% fail into burn" problem. I have attached a pdf copy for your review. Kind Regards, Wayne Thank you for your help: it was the firmware at fault. All is well now. I should have noted that this fault had occurred when burning my own photos and files also. Sorry for the inconvenience and thanks again. Wayne
