I/O Error

Hey guys I'm back yet again, a month ago i was here and had an I/O error and the solution was to get a new dvd burner, I found one and i hooked it up and the first 2 burns on it worked then it just started to give me I/O errors

 

Error:

Interpretation: L-EC Uncorrectable Error

the solution was to get a new dvd burner

This burner was released 2005. Hope you didn't pay a fortune for it.

 

There is a later firmware for that burner.

Basic issue with the log - the burner do not like the brand of media.

I know its a tad bit old, I paid like $10 for it from a friend, I'll be sure to get that firmware and better DVD's thanks Cynthia :thumbup:

A cleaning disc for the laser head might also be worth a try.
